So you have an appointment coming up to see your orthodontist and you are wondering what braces color you should pick. Here is a fabulous way to select a color that will stand out and really complement you. In this guide I will go through a few different hair colors types and what braces colors look the best.
Brunette
If you have brunette hair try colors like lavender, deep reds and blues look stunning and make you stand out. Darker hair contrasts really lovely with these colors. Brunette hair sits soon the warm to neutral range on the color wheel. Lavender is a cool tone and that contrast against the warm brown works really well. The deep reds catch any red that might be in the brunette hair especially when it hits the sun.
Blondes
Braces colors that compliments blondes are rose, aqua, teal, hot pink, periwinkle and navy. Rose and hot pink are warm and pinks and look really nice on the brightness of blonde hair creating a soft look. Aqua and teal are cool colors tones and they create and very stunning contrast against blonde hair.
Red hair
The Braces colors that contrast Beautifully with red hair are emerald, sapphire and deep blues. and Emerald and deep blues are cool tones and contrast really nice agains red warm toned hair. Dark Blonde
Colors that look amazing with darker blondes are pastels, light or emerald green, lavender and periwinkle.
Pastel and light are soft delicate tones compliments dark blondes cool undertones, creating a beautiful cohesive look. Lavender contrasts against dark blondes hair also making that person stand out in a lovely way. Pastels may be quicker to stain but they create a soft look with dark blonde hair.
Black
Black hair looks amazing with emerald, violet, navy and blues Emerald and navy blues are deep jewel tones that create a really stunning contrast against black hair. These colors really pop. Violets are a cool tone that also contrasts with black hair adding richness. Emerald or navy creates sophistication.
